Via AlterNet – Koch Brothers

According an article in AlterNet, the Koch Bros, had packets given to all their employees on who to vote for, in the 2010 elections. 50,000 employees were given the packets. Also in the article, the brothers would like to see the minimum wage disappear. Nothing is beneath these guys. They’ll do just about anything to have it their own way.

  1. I don’t think it is uncommon for some employers to suggest how to vote on upcoming elections, though suggesting they vote for a particular candidate is outside acceptable parameters I believe.

My previous employer was a fair and decent man even though he was friend of George Bush Sr. and a dedicated Republican. We would receive e-mails on how he preferred to see certain legislation go and would simply “encourage” us all to consider his viewpoint. I actually replied to one of his suggestions stating my opposition, politely of course, and he was good enough to respond that we should have to agree to disagree.

    • I’ve always voted with my own convictions. I never did like someone telling me how to vote, or who to vote for. If the person I voted didn’t win, then I just have to live with it.
