Meghyn Kelly of Fox Defends Debate Audience for Booing

Meghyn Kelly of Fox News, defends the people in the audience that booed at last week’s  Republican dedate. This is typical Fox News anchor style bullshit at its finest/worst. Take your pick.

Huffington Post

Fox News anchor Meghyn Kelly defended members of last Thursday’s GOP debate audience who booed after watching a video of a gay soldier asking about the don’t ask don’t tell law.

The moment drew widespread attention, and on Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden called the booing “reprehensible” during an appearance on “The View.”

Saudi Woman Will Get 10 Lashes For Driving.

Female activist Shaima Ghassaniya was sentenced to 10 lashes, for driving. It is not against Saudi law for a woman to drive, but it is against it by religious edict.

Its time that the Saudi government got its head out of the sand, and start letting women do the same things as men do.

In a small Alabama town, anyone committing a minor offense, will have a choice of going to jail,or going to church. Its unconstitutional to force anyone to go to church, so how the hell is this town’s judge getting away with it. Read it at Nation of Change

Quotation on Society

Start doing the things you think should be done, and start being what you think society should become. Do you believe in free speech? Then speak freely. Do you love the truth? Then tell it. Do you believe in an open society? Then act in the open. Do you believe in a decent and humane society? Then behave decently and humanely.

Romney, Harvard Grad With Harvard Advisers, Rips ‘Harvard Faculty Lounge’ | Election 2012

Mitt Romney, a Harvard grad, rips into the Harvard faculty lounge. That’s nothing new with him. When he was governor of Massachusetts, he would go around the country, making fun of the state he governed.

I do not agree with Justice Scalia. He is wrong with the ruling he gave in 2009, concerning Troy Davis.

The ‘Birthers’ don’t know when to give it up, and now comes this guy.

Pat Boone yes that one, with the white shoes and I really didn’t like his music, is insisting that Obama was born in Kenya. What the hell is this guy smoking?

Check out NOLA Details.

Fun Porches #16 Ooh – wouldn't you like to attend a small party on this porch? A get together with friends on that fabulous curved extension? I'm already picturing that iron table, festively set with linens, flowers, beautiful china, and decadent food. And people around it laughing and celebrating. See it? By the way, sorry I've been away from posting for quite a few days – I needed another computer vacation.  Perhaps you'll get some double posts to make up for … Read More

U.S. Supreme Court Halts Texas Execution

Los Angeles Times: The U.S. Supreme Court has halted the execution of a black man convicted of a double murder in Texas 16 years ago after his lawyers contended his sentence was unfair because of a question asked about race during his trial.

Forty-eight-year-old John Buck was scheduled for lethal injection Thursday evening.

At issue was a psychologist’s testimony that black people were more likely to commit violence.

A similar request to block the punishment was made to Texas Gov. Rick Perry. Perry is the Republican frontrunner for the GOP presidential nomination and his actions have now come under closer scrutiny.

Right Wingers Have Started Attacking Elizabeth Warren

It didn’t take long for the right to start the Elizabeth Warren Bashing.

In just a matter of hours after Elizabeth Warren Announced that she is running for the Senate in Massachusetts, in 2012. In a Boston Herald column, the writer says:

BoldProgessives.org

Who are they to vote for in next year’s Democratic Senate Primary? A woman or a black man? Who wins the victimology sweepstakes this cycle?

He went on to bash gays, Rachel Maddow and (weirdly) nannies.

The New Book About Palin: Cocaine, Pot and Cheating

According to the soon to be released book about Sarah Palin, by Joe McGinniss, has details and reports of Sarah snorting coke, smoking pot and cheating on Todd.

As for me, I could care less about the book and what the moron did.

The Atlantic Wire

Letting People Die, Because Of Little Or No Insurance

What the hell has gone wrong, with the way people think? It was damn sickening to read, watch and hear the people in the audience at the Tea Party Republican Debate in Tampa. When CNN’s Wolf Blitzer asked Ron Paul the question; a person in the hospital that has no insurance, do you just let him die, and the nutty asshole Tea Baggers clapped and thought it was funny.

The same thing last week in Simi Valley, when Brian Williams pointed out that 234 people under Perry’s watch, have been executed including an innocent man in Texas, which leads the nation on the death penalty scorecard, again, the audience clapped, like it was a big joke.

Why isn’t the media calling out on these Bozos for the way they are acting. I’m sure if it was an all Democratic audience, and they clapped and hooted at their candidates, Fox News and Limbaugh would be all over it.

Politics was always dirty, but never this dirty.

Major League Baseball Denies NY Mets With Wearing FDNY Baseball Caps / Crooks and Liars

Now this is disgusting. Major League Baseball, decided not to let the NY Mets wear FDNY & NYPD baseball caps, in honor of the fallen of 9/11. They had former Yankee manager, Joe Torre address it, instead of Bud Selig, who should have been the one to announce the decision not to wear them. Read more…

What’s In A Name

The English language has some wonderfully anthropomorphic collective nouns for the various groups of animals.
We are all familiar with a Herd of cows, a Flock of chickens, a School of fish and a gaggle of geese.
However, less widely known is a Pride of lions, a Murder of crows (as well as their cousins the rooks and ravens), an Exaltation of doves and, presumably because they look so wise, a Parliament of owls.
Now consider a group of Baboons. They are the loudest, most dangerous, most obnoxious, most viciously aggressive and least intelligent of all primates. And what is the proper collective noun for a group of baboons? Believe it or not …… a Congress!
I guess that pretty much explains things!

Its About Time Obama, That You Gave Them Hell

I caught the last 20 minutes of Obama’s jobs speech, and from what I saw and gathered, he’s had enough of Congress’s bullshit. Now if the thick-headed Tea Party led Republicans got that heads out of the sand, and realize that the obstructions that they believe in come to a complete stop, and start doing the job they were elected to do, is to work for the people who put them in office, and not do the work for the big corporations, the banks and their millionaire & billionaire friends.

Watching John Boehner, it looked like he didn’t know whether to cry or shit is pants, or both. Whenever he applauded, it was half heartedley, like he it was a big bother to do it.
