As a follower for more years than I can remember, it is hard to fathom what is going through Joe Paterno’s mind, after one of his long time assistant coaches, was arrested for sexual misconduct with minors. Paterno just recently got win number 409, making him coach with the most wins all-time, passing Grambling’s Eddie Robinson.
It is almost impossible to overestimate the impact Joe Paterno has had on Penn State since he joined Rip Engle’s staff in as a 23-year-old assistant in 1950.
