What made Bill Clinton make a statement, calling for the Bush era tax cuts be extended. Of course the orange coated John Boehner was all giddy, along with the other GOPers. Now the Obama White House is quite pissed about it, and I don’t blame them one bit, as Obama has been wanting the rich to pay more taxes.
Here’s a video that all Liberals, Democrats and Progressives should watch. Bill Clinton really gives it to Chris Wallace, as Clinton wouldn’t let Wallace to try and cut him off.
Rachel Maddow, makes a good point about Conservative media bias, on the Sunday morning talk show. It was a ratio of 3-1, in favor of the talking heads, from the Bush adminisration. A total of nine Republicans and only 3 Democrats were on the shows this past Sunday.
Bill Maher has had enough of the right wing false and negativity talk on his show, and he wants to put a stop to it. David Frum was putting his usual Republican spin on it, but Maher and Michael Eric Dyson would have none of it.
With Eliot Spitzer not taking any bullshit from John Yoo, formerly with the Bush administration, with his nonsense on how Obama went about wrong on nailing Bin Laden, and saying Bush was the one who knew how to fight terrorism, when in fact, Bush called off the CIA operation in 2005.
Its good to see that Maher and Spitzer can see right through these guys.
Michael Tomasky a brilliant writer for the Guardian, has made his final video, as he is leaving the paper. The Guardian is losing a respected man, and I love his writing, and also the video blogs that he made. You can find his writings and videos, in the ‘Comment is Free’ section of the Guardian.
Robert Reich remembers all to well, when the government shutdown twice, in the mid-90s during the Clinton administration.

It seems that Arianna Huffington changes like the weather. Back in the 1990s she was a Republican, who was bashing Bill Clinton, then in the late 90s-early 2000s, she changed and became a Democrat, and bashing George W. Bush. Now with the sale of the Huffington Post to AOL, it looks like she is moving back to the right of center in political terms.
For all the bloggers that wrote and provided to her web site for free, and then for her to up and sell it a right of center company, does not sit to well with them at all. And I’m not to happy with it either, as I am slowly weaning myself off of visiting her site.
