Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick has declared a state of emergency, due to the storm. He also issued an executive order banning vehicular traffic after 4 p.m. (2/8/13). Winds are supposed to be gusting as high as 70 mph, and also huge waves during high tide, later on in the day.
Mitt Romney has a chat with this 63 gay Viet Nam War Veteran, and lets say it didn’t go to well for Romney.
Harvard Professor Elizabeth Warren, was a registered Republican, but changed to the Democratic Party.
Harvard Law Professor Elizabeth Warren, who is running for the U.S. Senate in Massachusetts as a Democrat, revealed that she was a Republican until the 1980s, and she came out in strong support of the Occupy Wall Street protests in an interview The Daily Beast published Tuesday. Read more here…
Mitt Romney, a Harvard grad, rips into the Harvard faculty lounge. That’s nothing new with him. When he was governor of Massachusetts, he would go around the country, making fun of the state he governed.

When Sarah Palin was in Boston the other day, touring some of the historical sites in the city, which has many of them. One of the stops was the Paul Revere House. There they have the copy of Paul Revere’s famous ride, to warn John Hancock and Samuel Adams (not the beer), that British was coming to arrest them. The great historian Sarah Palin, mangle the whole story up, as it was so incoherent, that maybe a drunk on two day long bender would have understood it.
Of course Palin thinks that Revere’s ride was about the 2nd Amendment, which is not true, because beginning of the Revolutionary War was April 18, 1775. The constitutional convention did not meet until 1787, which was in Philadelphia.
Now this no nothing idiot believes in home schooling, so it looks like Piper gets a great a education from her mother. That kid belongs in school, not riding a bus, and getting her head all full of twisted historical nonsense.
If Palin ever did become president, my suggestion would be to change the name White House to Idiot house, as that is what it will become.
When Florida Governor Rick Scott refused to take money from the Obama administration for high speed rail, he said that it would ‘create Palinsque like death panels’. He’s the same governor who said ‘that if Florida accepted the money, and built the rail line, there would be a catch to it.’ In essence, the state of Florida would end up paying for it, which was not true.
Walker of Wisconsin, came up with some lame excuse not to take the money, to improve the rail system between Milwaukee and Madison, so as to cut down on the length of time.
So the money they refused to take, along with Ohio, some of that money was awarded to Massachusetts, Maine and a couple of other states, that want to improve their rail lines.
I’m hopeful that the voters in the Republican states, either recall, or vote them out in 2012, and never to be heard from again.
Michael Tomasky a brilliant writer for the Guardian, has made his final video, as he is leaving the paper. The Guardian is losing a respected man, and I love his writing, and also the video blogs that he made. You can find his writings and videos, in the ‘Comment is Free’ section of the Guardian.

The universal health care that is law here in Massachusetts, is going to be the bulls eye on Romney’s back, has keeps saying he wants to do away with the health care reform that was passed last year.

I can just imaging that we will be hearing the air heads on Fox News, slamming the president’s speech, on the reasons why we helped France and the UK, with the air strikes in Libya. That is all they seem to know how to do, is bash and ridicule Obama, and spin the stories their way, which we know is all lies and propaganda.
Also there will be more bullshit from John Bolton, Newt flip-flop Gingrich, and most of all the grand mistresses of lunacy; Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann, who said that the Revolutionary War started in NH, when everyone else knows it started in Massachusetts. So much for her knowing the history of the US.
Sure there will be people and there still are that what ever Fox News says is the truth, and that goes along with the right-wing loons that I mentioned above. They act like its “We’re right, and everybody else is wrong”. Sorry. Its the other way around.
Let the president do his job, as he may not be right all the time, but I’d rather him doing the job, which is a hell of a lot better than George W. Bush.
The sham that was pulled off by the Republicans in Madison, Wisconsin was uncalled for and unethical. Their sole agenda is to rid of the public and private unions, and if the Democrats, Liberals and Progressives don’t stand up and put up the good fight, all will be lost, and we’ll be back to the sweat shop days of the early 1900s, in which time the workers finally rose up, and stood up to the mill owners in Lawrence, Massachusetts that happened in 1912.
