There comes a time in life when you walk away from all the drama, and the people who create it. Surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life. Getting back up is living.

One of the most common mistakes people make in conversation is to think about what they want to say next instead of actually listening to what the other person is saying.

Since the government is shut down, for the second time in the last 17 years, the people who are so supposed to represent us, the Congress and the Senate, should have their pay reduced. They should get the minimum wage, which is around $8.00 an hour, pay for their own health insurance, and no more than two weeks vacation.
The people who are supposed to be working for us, get away with a lot of bullshit, and could care less about what is going on. True, there are some good people in both houses of Congress, but there the ones who can’t seem to drill it into the so called Tea Party nuts of the Republican Party. These clowns think they can do just what the hell they feel like doing, and that is putting the screws to ordinary people, who have to work, or don’t work, because of different reasons.
How would they like it, if they was paid the minimum wage?
It’s time for them to stop nit picking, and get real.
Why is it that so many people, are not keen about Mondays? I know. Mondays is the beginning of a new work and school week. It seems people get so annoyed or all pissy about it, like: ‘what happened to the weekend? or ‘I can’t believe its already Monday.’
I remember back to my working days, there were plenty of Mondays that I wasn’t exactly thrilled about waking up, and realizing that another Monday was upon us, but never was the one to make a big deal out of it, like some people I use to work with. So, off to work I’d go, and get it over with. When the eight or so hours was completed, then it would be one day done, and 4 to go.
Now that I am retired, Mondays seem could be the same as any other day of the week, as they all look the same to me. Just a day with a number.
Wouldn’t it better if they did away with Mondays, and give it another name like:
A pondering Mind wonders if any of you readers have any thoughts concerning Mondays.
