McCain on Romney: ‘Palin Was the Better Candidate’…No, Seriously, He Said That | BuzzFlash.org

When John McCain was running for president in 2008, Romney was on his list of possible VP candidates. After looking at Romney’s taxes and other financials, decided to have Palin as his running mate. He said that Palin was better than Mitt Romney.

Now, what does that say about Romney?

TPM: The Chart Democrats Don’t GOP Voters To See

Newt Gingrich’s favorability is on the negative side. Yet the voters in SC made him the winner. So ti was the usual anyone but Romney mantra.

Talking Points Memo

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich scored a huge victory the South Carolina Republican primary this weekend. He performed well in the Fox debates and the data suggests that drove his rise in the polls – his numbers picked up after he revved up the partisan crowd and Romney faded into the background. And then he won the actual vote by nearly fifteen points. Read more…

Eugene Robinson: Raising Cain

Herman Cain (Photo: Gage Skidmore / Flickr)

Herman Cain won’t be around to much longer. The only thing he has going for him, which won’t fly even on the windiest of days, is his 9-9-9 tax plan. If Mitt Romney was further to the right, Cain wouldn’t even be a blip on the radar screen.

Eugene Robinson in Truth Out

Washington – Just be patient and you, too, can lead the polls for the Republican presidential nomination. Witness the ascent of  Herman Cain.

Don’t laugh. “There’s a difference between the flavor of the week and Haagen-Dazs Black Walnut, because it tastes good all the time,” Cain told reporters this week. “Call me Haagen-Dazs Black Walnut.” Read more…

Over the last few years, the media has been filled with speculation about the assassination of Dr. Tiller and the Tucson shootings. Back In New Hampshire, Rudy Rips Obama, Offers Romney Advice | The New York Observer

Another Republican knucklehead bashing President Obama. Rudy Guiliani said at a speech in Manchester, NH that Obama ruined the economy. Try George W. Bush and company for creating an economic train wreck, that the president is still trying to clean up. He also threw in some other bombs at the president. All nonsense.

More Limbaugh Crap

Rush Limbaugh is all nerved up about some conservatives who don’t like Sarah Palin. Of course Limbaugh thinks that Palin would be a good president. Then he goes on to say that President Obama and the Democratic Party, are destroying this country. No Rush, it’s not  president and the Democratic Party that is destroying this country, it is you, and likes of you with your garbage filled mouth and hatred for the president, and anyone who is a Democrat, Liberal and or Progressive.

What’s been going on in Wisconsin, and a couple of other states, with their GOP governors, and Republican led state assemblies, is unconscionably at best, at what they have done to the unionized workers, the teachers, firefighters, police, trash collectors, and who ever else has jobs with the city, town or state. These people give it their all, and they are not breaking the bank, as far as wages, pensions, etc., etc. Shame on those Republicans who were voted into office, to serve and work with their respective constituents, instead of sticking it up their asses, and think nothing of it.

The reason why this country is in deep shit, is that we had eight years of Bush and Company, with the tax breaks and give away to the idle 1% percent, while the rest of the people get the crumbs. The Republicans keep saying that if you keep giving tax breaks to the idle rich, and the big corporations, then the jobs will be there. So far, that has not really happened. What has happened is that health care premiums keep going up, more foreclosures, more people going on food stamps, and whatever help they can get, and the Republican Party keeps turning a blind eye, like it will just go away by itself.

Do the Democrats want to cut and/or abolish Social Security? Of course not. The Republicans want to do away with it, because they think there is no need for it. So, what is a retiree to do, if the Republicans got their way, since most IRAs went into the tank, and are virtually worthless. It’s just a sad situation right now, and it is going to get worse, if we keep listening to the GOP, Limbaugh, the neanderthals at Fox “Propaganda” News, and any other right-wing  jackasses who don’t know any better.

Rush Limbaugh, don’t be blaming the Democrats for destroying the country. Its you, and the crazed bullshit, you spew out of your mouth on a daily basis. If this was Canada, or a few other countries, you would no be allowed to be talking like the way you do now. You would be called on the carpet, and yanked off the air. You’re lucky that dosen’t happen here, but I wish it would.
