The Republicans are at it again for Obama taking a three day vacation or campaign stump in the Mid-West, but they say he should be in Washington instead.
So far, since Obama took office, he has taken 61 days off in 31 months in office. In the same amount of time, George W. Bush took 180 vacation days off to spend in Crawford, Texas, and Ronald Reagan 112 vacation days at his ranch in California
How soon the Republicans forget about their past presidents, but are quick to point out a when a Democratic president takes theirs.
And he calls himself a Christian.

The Koch Brothers have their finger prints all over the way they are ruining this country, and it needs to be stopped.
An election took place last fall in Virginia that didn’t garner national attention, but it should have – not for the candidates or issues – but for the giant pile of corporate cash manipulating events behind the scenes.
Richard Boucher, a then-28-year incumbent Democratic Congressman from the Ninth District – the longest – serving Congressman in that district since the Civil War – was surprisingly defeated by Republican Morgan Griffith. Read more

Representative James McGovern a Massachusetts Democrat, says the following quote about cuts concerning Social Security:
“I’m frustrated as hell that you’ve got members of Congress talking about cutting benefits for Social Security recipients when they had nothing to do with this economic mess we’re in.”
I agree with his quote, as the Social Security tax that we the workers have been, some still paying into it, has nothing to do with the deficit, as it is separate from the overall budget.
So why are the Republicans so adamantly for cutting back or killing SS? Do they think we are living the high life? Not.
One think the Republicans don’t want to do is piss off granny, as they will come back right at you.
What goes around, comes around.

President Obama walked out of the Debt Ceiling meeting, as Eric Cantor was being very rude. It was reported that Cantor interrupted Obama three times, while the President was wrapping things up. Canto claims that Obama stormed out, but Nancy Pelosi says that is not true, and was really pissed off on how Cantor was acting. By the way, Cantor has already walked out twice on Obama. Cantor should grow up, act like an adult, or get the hell out of Washington.

Just a sampling of what the uneducated morons post on Fox News.
June saw a payroll hike of 18,000.
The unemployment rate went up to 9.2%.
Not looking good at all.
With all that said; “Where are the jobs?” the Republicans promised back in November & January…waiting for an answer that we will never get.
Another fine outstanding Republican with “Family Values” Rep. Robert Mecklenborg got arrested for Operating Under the Influence. He lives in Ohio, but the incident happened in Indiana, and he had a stripper in the vehicle. Its time the Republicans gave up on the Family Values nonsense.

A study done by two Harvard U researches suggest that, children attending a July 4th festivity, will more likely become a Republican, according to an article in The Huffington Post.
I’ve attended many July 4th celebrations, and I never became a Republican.

Over the last few years, the media has been filled with speculation about the assassination of Dr. Tiller and the Tucson shootings. There is a lot of discussion about the divisive discourse in this country that they could have led to such violence. There is speculation that, on the face of it, these killers are mentally unbalanced. More…

Sarah Palin is going down in the polls, after her bungling of the Paul Revere Ride. Hopefully the downward trend will continue, and she will turn out to be just a footnote in history.
The new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll has some bad news for Sarah Palin. Thanks to Paul Revere, her orchestrated publicity tour over Memorial Day weekend managed to lower her approval rating to 24%. more….
Here’s a video that all Liberals, Democrats and Progressives should watch. Bill Clinton really gives it to Chris Wallace, as Clinton wouldn’t let Wallace to try and cut him off.
Sarah Palin calls President Obama and Nancy Pelosi liars, and says the Republicans are trying to “save” Medicare while the Democrats are killing it. Ms. Palin called the President a liar. This woman, who has told the truth less often than she tells lies, this person who lies about the weather in her own book, this serial liar, has called the President a liar on national TV.
When Patrick McHenry called Elizabeth Warren a liar twice, and never had the decency to apologize, then their is a serious disconnect. In Politicususa, Sarah Jones has a well written piece about McHenry, and none of it is any good.
GOP Congressman Paul Broun of Georgia said they shouldn’t raise the debt ceiling, unless they abolish the Departments of Energy and Education. Brilliant. Just what the hell are these GOP ass clowns smoking?
Think Progress has more
Saxby Chambliss is getting a lot of grief from the right-wing fringe, for trying to work out a deal to lower the deficit ceiling. Chambliss should never been a senator in the first place, when he ran a disgraceful campaign against a war vet and an honorable man.
The fringe of the right wing has completely lost it.

How low can people go, threatening the high school girl that wants to debate Michele Bachmann. According to Alternet, the girl is honor student, and writes for the student school paper.
To be threatened with rape, and the Tea Party does jack shit about, is intolerable.

House Republican Paul Ryan defends his budget blueprint, medicare overhaul.
Wisconsin Rep Paul Ryan (R)
In a speech before the Economic Club of Chicago, the Wisconsin Republican maintained, “We cannot avert a debt crisis unless we directly address the rising cost of health.”
Ryan said his plan to overhaul Medicare would “give power to deny business to inefficient providers. [Democrats] plan is to give government the power to deny care to seniors.”
The Tea Party Patriots wants the public schools to teach the Constitution their way, meaning as they read it, and see it. Their idea is to have the writings and views by the late W. Leon Skousen, who’s views are blatantly racial.
Lets hope that local school boards across the nation don’t approve of the way the Tea Party asses, are trying to do things.
Karoli has a great article in Crooks and Liars, that the Conservatives should get over themselves, as for the poet Common appearing at the White House.
The Conservatives are great for reading or hearing something, and then blow it all up, into false accusations. But where was these so-called family values types, when in 2008, Ted Nugent went off his rocket, ranting all kinds of awful shit about Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Never heard a peep out of them.
Its downright disgusting they way they act.
Rachel Maddow, makes a good point about Conservative media bias, on the Sunday morning talk show. It was a ratio of 3-1, in favor of the talking heads, from the Bush adminisration. A total of nine Republicans and only 3 Democrats were on the shows this past Sunday.
Paul Ryan R-Wisconsin
Paul Ryan, the anointed budget writer for the GOP led House, accuses ThinkProgress of “Stacking Crowds” at his town hall meetings in his home state of Wisconsin.
When the Democrats was having their town hall meetings in 2009, it was alright for the Tea Baggers, and other right wing loons, to scream, shout, and wreak all kinds of havoc. But when the Republicans have town hall meetings, they say people are bussed in to disrupt them, and its not right to do that. Well Ryan, all I can say is “Pay Back is a Bitch.”
The House Republicans are acting like spoiled school children, as they refuse to pass a resolution to honor the military, and the Navy Seals. They should get over it that Osama bin Laden was caught and killed under Obama’s watch, and not George Bush. I just have to wonder what the hell goes through their minds.
Give ‘em hell Harry Truman tells it like it is. There is a speech that he gave in September 11, 1951, at a dedication of the GAO office building. To bad he wasn’t around today, because we could sure use him.

The Republicans got their way in extending the Bush-era tax cuts for the rich, by way of extending the cuts for every worker, for the next two years. The people who are collecting unemployment, which for about two million people, was coming to a close by the end of the month, will get up to a 13 month extension. The only way that happened, was the Republicans forced the President, and the Democrats to cave into giving the wealthiest two percent an additional tax break. So how is this going to create more jobs, when the big corporations are sitting on piles of cash, and don’t want to spend it on job creation, raises, etc., etc. What are people supposed to do?
It would be great, if the Democrats in Washington would grow a pair, and call out on the Republicans for what is good for the people of this country, not their so-called fantasy of everything has to go their way, and for the rich fat cats who could care less for the common man.
