The US government is so screwed up, it doesn’t seem to know which end is up. Washington has finally settled the debt ceiling, a short term budget, which end on January 15, and the debt ceiling ends on February 7.
For 16 days, a certain amount of federal employees didn’t get paid, national parks closed, but in those 16 days, both houses of Congress collected their pay checks. This is not right, and they should be ashamed of themselves, for accepting those checks.
Come next January, we’re supposed to go through with this bullshit again, and probably another three months after that.
It’s maddening at what goes on down in DC. It’s one big Dysfunctional Family, and many other foreign countries must be scratching their collective heads, at what the hell is going on.
One faction of a party doesn’t get to shut down the government to fight the results of an election.

Tea Party Leader Arrested For Kidnapping and Rape.
The NH legislature over rode Governor Lynch’s veto, a law that now allows any parent of child in a NH public school, to request the way the student(s) are taught.
In what is now a law in the Granite State, through a veto override last week, parents can object to any part of a public school cirriculum and have it replaced for their child. Perhaps born of a Tea Party nod to home schooling, it’s really an attempt to turn public education into anarchy. Read more…
Sarah Palin who lives on her own planet, says the Occupy Wall Street Movement wants a bailout. She also has this plum to say about Florida via The Huffington Post: She said America used to look to California as a place for innovation and new energy.
“Now the eyes of America are now on Florida,” Palin said. “You’re doing things right under the good leadership of Rick Scott.”
She praised Scott as a jobs creator and for his life story of growing up in a poor family to building a fortune of more than $200 million as a businessman.

Elizabeth Warren was heckled by a Tea Party supporter, at VFW Hall in Brockton, Mass. When he was done, he tried to go out the side door that was locked.
BROCKTON, Mass. — Moments into a speech before volunteers here Wednesday evening, Elizabeth Warren was interrupted by a Tea Party supporter who hurled a gender-based epithet at the Senate candidate. The man, who said he’d been unemployed since February 2010, objected to Warren’s expressed affiliation with the frustrations of Occupy Wall Street, and argued that the Tea Party has been protesting Wall Street excess for longer than the nascent global movement. The NY Times has reported, that NJ Governor Chris Christie will not seek the presidency, and will make an official announcement at 1:00 p.m. (10-4-11).
This should be a big let down for the Tea Party, and others in the GOP.
Judge Raul Vega has ordered to Rep. Joe Walsh (R) to prove he does not owe back child support. He stopped paying his ex-wife in March of 2008. She claims he owes $117,437.00 to her and her three children.

What the hell has gone wrong, with the way people think? It was damn sickening to read, watch and hear the people in the audience at the Tea Party Republican Debate in Tampa. When CNN’s Wolf Blitzer asked Ron Paul the question; a person in the hospital that has no insurance, do you just let him die, and the nutty asshole Tea Baggers clapped and thought it was funny.
The same thing last week in Simi Valley, when Brian Williams pointed out that 234 people under Perry’s watch, have been executed including an innocent man in Texas, which leads the nation on the death penalty scorecard, again, the audience clapped, like it was a big joke.
Why isn’t the media calling out on these Bozos for the way they are acting. I’m sure if it was an all Democratic audience, and they clapped and hooted at their candidates, Fox News and Limbaugh would be all over it.
Politics was always dirty, but never this dirty.
I caught the last 20 minutes of Obama’s jobs speech, and from what I saw and gathered, he’s had enough of Congress’s bullshit. Now if the thick-headed Tea Party led Republicans got that heads out of the sand, and realize that the obstructions that they believe in come to a complete stop, and start doing the job they were elected to do, is to work for the people who put them in office, and not do the work for the big corporations, the banks and their millionaire & billionaire friends.
Watching John Boehner, it looked like he didn’t know whether to cry or shit is pants, or both. Whenever he applauded, it was half heartedley, like he it was a big bother to do it.

I could only imagine what kind of frenzy the Tea Partiers would be in, if Section 2, and if possible Section 3 of the 14th Amendment was used.
I’m sure they would go ballistic.
They gave us a republic…:: Don’t look to Section 4 of the 14th Amendment. Invoke Section 2. Or maybe Section 3….

You can send your kid(s) to Tea Party summer camp in sunny Florida. It sounds to me like its a brain washing camp, with some religion, and will use candies as a teaching tool for the gold standard. WTF!
–snip– The [Tampa 912 Project], which falls under the tea party umbrella, hopes to introduce kids ages 8 to 12 to principles that include “America is good,” “I believe in God’” and “I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable”… Read more
Margaret Thatchers says: Palin is nuts. WOW!
Guardian / June 7, ’11
Sarah Palin wants to show to the Republican right that she is the true keeper of the Ronald Reagan flame by meeting the late president’s closest ally on the world stage.
A meeting with Margaret Thatcher in the centenary year of Reagan’s birth would be the perfect way of launching her bid for the Republican nomination for the 2012 US presidential election.
Sarah Palin calls President Obama and Nancy Pelosi liars, and says the Republicans are trying to “save” Medicare while the Democrats are killing it. Ms. Palin called the President a liar. This woman, who has told the truth less often than she tells lies, this person who lies about the weather in her own book, this serial liar, has called the President a liar on national TV.
Saxby Chambliss is getting a lot of grief from the right-wing fringe, for trying to work out a deal to lower the deficit ceiling. Chambliss should never been a senator in the first place, when he ran a disgraceful campaign against a war vet and an honorable man.
The fringe of the right wing has completely lost it.

How low can people go, threatening the high school girl that wants to debate Michele Bachmann. According to Alternet, the girl is honor student, and writes for the student school paper.
To be threatened with rape, and the Tea Party does jack shit about, is intolerable.

The Tea Party Patriots wants the public schools to teach the Constitution their way, meaning as they read it, and see it. Their idea is to have the writings and views by the late W. Leon Skousen, who’s views are blatantly racial.
Lets hope that local school boards across the nation don’t approve of the way the Tea Party asses, are trying to do things.
What was the New York State Theatre at the Lincoln Center, is now known as the David H. Koch Theatre, after receiving a $100m donation from David Koch in 2008. According to the Raw Story, there was a crowd of around 500 protesters, and added the caption “I’m the Tea Party wallet” to the name plate of the Koch Theatre.
Paul Ryan R-Wisconsin
Paul Ryan, the anointed budget writer for the GOP led House, accuses ThinkProgress of “Stacking Crowds” at his town hall meetings in his home state of Wisconsin.
When the Democrats was having their town hall meetings in 2009, it was alright for the Tea Baggers, and other right wing loons, to scream, shout, and wreak all kinds of havoc. But when the Republicans have town hall meetings, they say people are bussed in to disrupt them, and its not right to do that. Well Ryan, all I can say is “Pay Back is a Bitch.”
Interesting editorial in The Boston Globe, concerning the budget. I agree it is time, to forget worrying about the Tea Party, and get this budget resolved.
