Hackers Put the Whamy on al Qaeda Network

Hackers have crippled the al Qaeda Network, and it will probably be at least two before it will be back up and running. It couldn’t happen to a nicer group. Good job!

Donald Trump Takes Up Birthers’ Obama College Conspiracy Theory

Orly Taitz, the queen of birther, is at it again, saying she has proof that Obama only went to Columbia University for only one year, which is a lie. She also wants to know how he got into Harvard.

What’s next with her, Donald Trump and the other loose cannons; proof that he has a driver’s license, lived in Chicago? It’s totally insane with these people.

Evangelicals Preach the Gospel of Getting Out of Debt

Is God and/or religion going to solve the US debt problem? I think not. A good portion of the Evangelicals think it will. Good luck with that.

Conservatives’ Glenn Beck Backlash Doesn’t Go Far Enough – The Daily Beast

Bill Kristol and few others have called out Glenn Beck, about his half-baked theories. The mainstream GOP should do the same. Throw in Limbaugh and the right wing kooks, and call them out too.

Is Right-Wing Talk Dying?

It would be nice to see the right-wing radio dolts, like Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity just to name a few, get shown the door, and it would be great if happened today. The Daily Beast’s John Avlon points out, that some radio station managers, are getting tired of hearing the Obama bashing, which practically goes on, non-stop. Hopefully more people will gravitate away from the right-wing nonsense, and start listening to well learned people, and get this country back to respectability.

Huffington Post Readers Revolt Against AOL

I’m not thrilled at all with The Huffington Post being bought out by AOL. Its a bad move, as I’m afraid that the liberal and progressive voices will slowly be silenced, and also the hits on Huffpo will most likely go down.  They’re other websites to go to for great commentary and news with a leftist slant. There’s The Daily Beast, Crooks and Liars, Talking Points Memo, Reader Supported News just to name a few. All is not lost if the Huffington Post dosen’t deliver the goods, that we all came to expect from them.

AOL, Huffington Post: AOL to buy Huffington Post for $315 million – latimes.com

The Huffington Post has been sold to AOL, for $315 million.  I’m afraid that the Huffington Post will slowly migrate from the left, and go towards the right, now that AOL will be taking over. If that dose happen, there’s The Daily Beast, AlterNet and Mother Jones to get the liberal side of the news.
